Fine Carpets Sale – Oriental Rugs Auction
Helander’s Fine Carpets Sale Offers a High Quality Selection of Oriental Rugs.
Helander’s Fine Carpet Sale consists of 100 pieces of handwoven oriental rugs. With this auction Helander also celebrates it’s 11th anniversary!
The Auction consists of both new and vintage lots, although almost all of the rugs are unused and thus in excellent condition. In the catalogue you will find among others Kilim, Sumak, Qum and Nain rugs, as well as some smaller Morroccan rugs. Starting prices for the Lots vary between 50–3,000 euros.
Fine Carpets Sale will be held online starting from the 3rd of February and ending on the 10th of February.
During the Sale Helander’s Oriental Rugs expert Mika Sirén, will be present in the Viewing of the Auction every day between between 5 and 6 p.m. (UTC +2h) at Hernepellonkuja 8–10, 00560 Helsinki.
In addition to the Auction, an Oriental Rugs Event will be held on Sat the 4th of February. The key note speaker, the CEO and Oriental Carpets Specialist of Helander Mika Sirén will be giving an experts guidance to oriental rugs and their history. There will also be an introduction to upcoming culture related trips during spring 2023, provided by Aarrematkat. Read more about the event here!

Payment
You should pay your purchases within five (5) days after the auction has ended. You can pay for your purchases either at the Auction House or through the My Pages service.
At the Chamber, payment methods are bank and credit cards or bank transfer. Please note, that we do not accept cash or charge debit cards remotely.
From My Pages, you’ll see an invoice for your purchases after the auction. You can pay for your purchases via the service with a card or through your own online bank.
Collecting & shipping
Items must be picked up / shipping ordered and paid within five (5) days of the auction.
When considering packaging or mailing, contact us. We will professionally pack (and if necessary disassemble) items for mailing or transport. Request a quote here
Condition grading
To make buying easier, we have applied Condition Grading to all Lots in our Online Auctions. The purpose of the Grading is to make it easier for you to gain information on the condition of the lots, along with images, descriptions and possibly seeing the items at the viewing.
