Summer is finally here and we’re all loving it! Auction House Helander will also be taking a short brake and our chamber and customer service will be closed starting from the 4h of July until the 24th of July of 2022. But did you know that our Ongoing 24/7 Online Auction will be running the whole time? You read right!

Opening Hours during the Summer of 2022

Our customer service and the chamber is closed during the following times:

Friday the 24th of June – Sat 26th of June 2022

Saturday the 2nd of July until the Sunday the 24th of July 2022.

Our Ongoing 24/7 Online Auction is live and running the whole summer. You are more than welcome to browse and bid on the lost though our auction catalogue. We will also be arranging a Summer Clearance Sale on Thursday the 23rd of June, that takes place both online and onsite.

VAT increase on September 1, 2024 - what to consider when buying and selling at an auction?

The general value-added tax will increase from 24 % to 25.5 % from September 1, 2024. The amount of tax is determined by when the service is performed or when the goods are delivered to the customer. In this blog, we explain in more detail how the change in VAT will affect buying and selling at auction houses in August-September. So, whether you plan to buy or sell at an auction, it's worth considering that a value-added tax rate of 24% will still be applied to purchases or items sold by the end of August 2024.
